I am a Registered Psychologist (College of Alberta Psychologists), Registered Social Worker (Alberta College of Social Workers, with authorization to perform restricted psychosocial interventions) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association).

I have worked with children, youth, and families in educational settings since 2002, which means I have spent a lot of years helping people navigate life in all its chaos, complexity, awkwardness, heartbreak, growth spurts, and occasional “what on earth is happening right now?” moments. My experience includes supporting youth and adults, LGBTQ2+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and families working through the many moving pieces of school systems, relationships, identity, mental health, and everyday life.

I believe each person brings a unique story into the room, and that story deserves care, curiosity, and compassion. Therapy is not about having all the answers or showing up perfectly polished. It is about creating a space where you can exhale a little, untangle what feels heavy, make sense of your experiences, and maybe even laugh once in a while along the way. Some sessions hold deep reflection, some hold practical problem-solving, and sometimes there is humour in the middle of the hard stuff because humans are wonderfully resilient and a little weird.

My approach to therapy is affirmative, holistic, and collaborative. I work to understand the lived experiences, identities, relationships, and sociocultural contexts that shape how people experience the world. Building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and comfortable showing up exactly as they are.
